Arrived

Hey everyone!
I've arrived in Zambia, and am writing you from a little internet cafe. Although I've written a fair amount on my lap top about my London Adventure- exploring St. Paul's Cathedral, eating in a crypt and getting caught in the rain, I'll have to wait until we have internet access at the house before I post it.
Just wanted to let you all know that I am safe, jet-lagged and extatic to be here.
The plants, the roads, the land is like a living photo-album of my childhood. It's amazing to be back.
Take care,
Dayna

We look forward to seeing some of the images you capture for us--either with your camera, or through disparate ideas woven together with fresh words, creating a rich tapestry of imagery...

Alas, can these images ever be captured or even tamed? No, but perhaps befriended for a time...

Also, words work best if you can't upload large digital images.

Footha.

Hi Dayna
We had a few people asking after you today, and we told them you were safely arrived. I guess on Monday you'll start in on things. Hope all goes well. Kylie went on the grad cruise. Andrew's team didn't do so well in the provincials. I had a nap on the couch. Grandad is in the hospital, but getting better, it seems.
I'd email, but I'll wait until you have email capabilities.
Love you, hon

Daaaaayna, my dear friend. Glad you joined the blog train so I can hear about your trip. Miss you already, so sorry to hear about the mis-understanding with the leaving!! Yikes!! But safe and sound, you came through the other side and now you're starting on those experiences of a lifetime.
